If there's not much interest within your chosen market then you are not going to make much money, if any. You need a market that is popular and a market that other Online Business Owners have created products for. Quite simply, if there are a lot of products and services that are relevant to your market, the chances are you will make some money from it, if you advertise in the right place.
Below i have listed a few services i use to find out if a market is popular and if its going to be worth targeting. If you find a market that has products that are in demand then you have a profitable campaign.
Google Trends is probably my favourite site to find my next hot market. With Hot Trends, Google list the days top 100 search terms. This is a great tool to use and gives you plenty of choice each and everyday. Find a hot subject and create a website dedicated to that search term. It doesn't get any easier than this does it.
Dummies.com is a great place to find lucrative markets to target. When you go to this website you basically click on a category and it lists the most popular articles. Why is this important? This is important as the articles that are the most popular are in most demand by the visitors who use dummies.com. These topics are the most viewed as the demand for products and information within this subject is high. You can also visit the Dummies Store and you can guarantee that if Dummies have took their time to create a book on a certain subject then it is a good market to Hit. You will definitely find a great market here.
Amazon Bestsellers is another great website to use due to its popularity and its category rich Bestsellers List. If its hot then its there and will give you a good idea of what products you need to promote or what products you could create. This is certainly a fantastic resource to find your next honey pot!
